Return and Refund Policy
Most BureBure products are handmade in small batches or made to order. Some products are standard items made using the options shown on the product page, while others are custom, personalized, special-size or made for a specific customer, group or project.
Please read this policy before placing an order.
Returns for standard products
We accept return requests for eligible standard products within 30 days after delivery.
A standard product means an item made using the regular product options shown on the product page, such as standard model, standard size range, standard colour options or standard design options, without names, logos, special measurements, custom artwork or other personal changes.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be clean, undamaged and returned with its packaging whenever possible.
You may inspect the item as you would in a shop, but if the item has been worn, used, washed, altered, damaged or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we may reduce or refuse the refund where allowed by law.
Custom and personalized products
Custom, personalized, special-size, made-to-measure, logo, name, group, designer collaboration, historical reconstruction and special project orders are made especially for a specific customer and usually cannot be returned or refunded because of a change of mind.
This does not affect your rights if the item is defective, damaged during shipping, incorrect, or does not match the product description.
EU customers
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a legal right to withdraw from many online purchases within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason.
This right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, unless the item is defective, incorrect, damaged during shipping, or does not match the product description.
Our 30-day return period for eligible standard products gives you more time than the basic 14-day withdrawal period, but it does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you by law.
Defective, damaged or incorrect items
Please contact us as soon as possible if your item arrives defective, damaged during shipping, incorrect, or different from the product description.
Email us at info@burebureshoes.com and include your order number, a short description of the problem, and clear photos of the item and packaging.
If the problem was caused by our mistake, a defect, or shipping damage, we will help with a repair, replacement, remake, return or refund, depending on the situation.
How to request a return
Please contact us before sending any item back.
You can request a return through your customer account, if this option is available, or email us at info@burebureshoes.com.
Items sent back without contacting us first may be delayed or may not be accepted.
Return shipping
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
For defective, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed items, return shipping costs are our responsibility where required by law.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We cannot be responsible for returned items lost in transit before they reach us.

Refunds
After we receive and inspect the returned item, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Your bank, card provider or payment provider may need additional time to process the refund.
If you chose an upgraded or express shipping method, the extra cost of that upgraded shipping method is not refundable unless the return is caused by our mistake, a defect, shipping damage, or unless otherwise required by law.
Free shipping promotions do not include free return shipping, unless the return is caused by our mistake, a defect, shipping damage, or unless otherwise required by law.
Sale items
Sale items and discounted items may be returned only if they are eligible standard products, or if they are defective, damaged during shipping, incorrect, or do not match the product description.
Exchanges and remakes
Because many BureBure products are handmade to order, direct exchanges are not always possible.
If you need a different size, colour or model, please contact us. In some cases, we may offer a remake, replacement, partial refund or a new order option.

Shipping Policy
Most BureBure products are handmade to order. This means that your felted wool footwear, sauna hat, accessory or custom item is usually made only after your order is placed.
Production time
Most standard orders take about 1–2 weeks to make before shipping.
Custom, personalized, special-size, group, logo, designer collaboration, historical reconstruction or special project orders may take longer.
If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before placing the order. We will let you know whether the date is realistic.
Ready to Ship items are rare exceptions. If an item is clearly marked as Ready to Ship, it can usually be dispatched faster.
Shipping methods
We ship worldwide using trackable shipping services such as FedEx, DHL, Deutsche Post Global Mail or other available carriers.
Available shipping methods depend on the destination country, product type, order size, weight and current carrier availability.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number after your order is dispatched.
Please always include your phone number when placing an order, as couriers may need it for delivery.
Standard shipping
Standard shipping is available for many countries and product groups.
For eligible standard products, standard shipping may be free on orders of 100 USD or more.
Free standard shipping applies only when this option is shown and selected at checkout.
Express shipping
Express shipping may be available depending on the destination country and product group.
Free express shipping may be offered for selected product groups, selected countries or specific order values. Availability is shown at checkout.
If free express shipping is not shown at checkout, it is not available for that order.
Estimated delivery times
Delivery times shown at checkout or in shipping notifications are estimates only. They do not include the handmade production time unless clearly stated.
Actual delivery time may vary because of customs processing, carrier delays, holidays, weather conditions, strikes or other circumstances outside our control.
Import duties and taxes
For orders shipped to the United States, import duties and taxes are covered by us where applicable.
For other countries, import duties, VAT, customs fees, brokerage fees or local taxes may be charged by the destination country and are the customer’s responsibility unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout.
Shipping address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address.
If a parcel is delayed, returned or lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address, missing phone number, refusal to accept delivery, or failure to collect the parcel, additional shipping costs may apply.
Damaged or missing parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, please keep the packaging and contact us as soon as possible with photos of the item, parcel and shipping label.
If your parcel appears lost or significantly delayed, please contact us and we will help investigate with the carrier.
