Return and Refund Policy

Most BureBure products are handmade to order especially for you. Each item is made individually and requires time, materials and careful handwork.

Please place your order responsibly. Many made-to-order, custom, personalized, group or special project items cannot be resold after they are made.

Requesting a return

Please contact us before sending any item back. Returns must be requested within 30 days after delivery.

To request a return, log in to your customer account, open the order you want to return and click Request return. Choose the item, select a return reason and submit the request. We will review it and contact you with the next steps.

If you want a refund or a remake, you can also email us at info@burebureshoes.com. When you contact us, we may ask for a photo of the item.

Return eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, clean, undamaged and returned in its original packaging whenever possible.

We accept returns, refunds, replacements or remakes when the item is defective, damaged during shipping, incorrect, or does not match the product description.

If the problem was caused by our mistake, we will help with the return, replacement, remake or refund.

Custom and personalized orders

Custom, personalized, special-size, name, logo, group, designer collaboration and historical reconstruction orders are usually not returnable, unless there is a defect or a mistake on our side.

Because these pieces are made especially for you or your group, they cannot usually be resold.

Situations where refunds may be refused or reduced

  • The item is not in its original condition or is damaged for reasons not caused by us.
  • The item has been used, worn, washed or altered.
  • Parts, packaging or accessories are missing for reasons not caused by us.
  • The return request is made more than 30 days after delivery.
  • The item was custom, personalized or made for a special project and there is no defect or mistake on our side.

Return shipping

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is caused by our mistake, a defect or shipping damage.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first or submitting a return request through your order. We will ask you to return the item to one of our return addresses.

Refund process

After we receive and inspect the returned item, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that your bank, card provider or payment provider may need additional time to process the refund.

Late or missing refunds

If you have not received an approved refund after several business days, please first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company or payment provider, as it may take some time before a refund is officially posted.

Sale items

Sale items may be refunded only if they are defective, damaged during shipping, incorrect, or do not match the product description.
