Personalized Wool Sauna Hat – Papa Bear & Mama Bear

This felted wool sauna hat is handmade from natural wool. Felt sauna hats have been used for a long time in saunas and banyas to help protect the head from strong heat and make sauna time more comfortable.

Besides the standard options, we can also make a custom color, size, or shape for you.

Reversible two-color design

This hat is reversible, so you can turn it inside out and wear it both ways. You may choose two colors: one for the outside and one for the inside.

The standard design is made with soft rounded bear ears. If you would like another animal, different ears, another shape, or your own idea, write it in the personalization field and we will do our best to make it for you.

Why wear a sauna hat?

A wool sauna hat helps protect your head from strong heat, making it easier to stay in the sauna longer and more comfortably. It is especially useful in hot dry saunas, traditional banyas, and steam rituals.

The longer edges can be folded down to help protect the ears, neck, and shoulders when the heat becomes intense. The front is slightly shorter for comfort and a balanced look.

Available sizes

• S – 54–55 cm / 21.2–21.6 in – for smaller head sizes, teenagers, and some women
• M – 56–58 cm / 22–22.8 in – standard size for most women and men
• L – 59–61 cm / 23.2–24 in – for larger head sizes, most men
• XL – 62–64 cm / 24.4–25.2 in – for a roomier fit

Care instructions

Hand wash gently at 30°C / 86°F with wool detergent. Do not rub strongly or wring out, as this may cause shrinkage. Dry naturally in the shade and avoid direct sunlight to help protect the colors.

For everyday care, simply air the hat out after use. You may also gently vacuum it. If it gets dirty, let the dirt dry first, then brush it off or vacuum it carefully.
