This handmade felted wool sauna hat is a modern interpretation of the classic sauna (bania) hat that has been used for centuries to protect the head from intense heat. Made from soft natural felted wool, it helps shield your head from extreme temperatures and makes sauna time safer and more comfortable.

This is a reversible  sauna hat — simply turn it inside out to switch the look.One side features a beautiful color gradient made from 3–4 blended shades. You can choose from our curated color combinations or request your own — simply tell us your favorite colors, and we will create a unique blend just for you. The inner side is solid-colored, made from natural beige or light grey wool, or dyed wool carefully matched to your chosen color combination.
This means you get two looks in one hat:
one day — a soft, artistic color blend,
another day — a minimal, natural solid tone.
Simply turn the hat inside out to change the style.

Also you can add personalization such as an applique, symbol, or text. This makes it a beautiful and meaningful gift for a mom, sister, friend, partner, or any family member who enjoys sauna rituals.

For generations, felt sauna hats have been traditionally used in saunas and banyas to protect the head from overheating. This hat follows that tradition while adding thoughtful design details. It has longer edges that can be folded down, allowing you to protect your ears, neck, and even shoulders if the heat becomes intense. The front is slightly shorter to keep the hat comfortable and visually balanced.

Available Sizes:
✔ S (Small) – 54-55 cm (21.2-21.6 in) – Fits smaller head sizes, teenagers, and some women
✔ M (Medium) – 56-58 cm (22-22.8 in) – Standard size for most women and men
✔ L (Large) – 59-60 cm (23.2-24 in) – Fits larger head sizes, most men
✔ XL (Extra Large) – 60-62 cm (24.4 in) – For those who prefer a roomy fit

Personalization options:
You may order the hat without personalization or choose one of the following options:

1. Large front personalization
   A larger design on the front of the hat. This could be: your favorite flower, a symbolic image, a spirit animal, a monogram, a meaningful word or short phrase...
   Write your idea in the personalization field and I will create the design according to your request.
2. Small name or initials on the side
   A small name or initials can be added to the side of the hat. This is especially convenient if you visit public saunas, so your hat is always easy to recognize.

Care instructions:
Hand wash at 30°C with wool detergent. Do not rub vigorously or wring out, as it may cause shrinkage. Avoid drying in direct sunlight, as it may cause color fading. It is best to dry them outdoors, in the shade, in the morning or evening.
The easiest way to clean them is by vacuuming with a vacuum cleaner and regularly airing them out. If they get dirty, wait for the dirt to dry and then brush it off or vacuum it, as most dirt will crumble.
